Fallout 76 Kicks Off A New Roadmap Of Content With The Legendary Run

The first major update for Fallout 76 after the big Wastelanders content drop puts things in place for the future of the game moving forward as Bethesda implement their take on a "Pass" progression system and also make it easier to team up with other players.

Update 20 brings what Bethesda are calling Seasons, with this inaugural one being themed around "The Legendary Run"; a fictional board game featuring Captain Cosmos as he tries to stop the Evil Zorbo and his evil plans. Each season is set to run for around 10 weeks giving you a good reason to check in each day.

Completing daily and weekly challenges will now earn you S.C.O.R.E. which nets you progress towards your seasonal rank enabling you to move forward on the board. Each spot on the board hides a reward from Caps and Atoms to cosmetics and utility items.

Also in this update is the ability to form Public Teams which allow players to indicate they are focussing on a specific goal like completing events, hunting and building which any player can then easily join from a server-wide notification. Playing in a team conveys bonuses specific to that activity encouraging players to work together.

Update 20 is live now on all platforms; PC (via Steam and Bethesda.net), PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
