Far Far West Reaches One Million Copies Sold
It's been only a few weeks since the launch of Far Far West. Developed by Evil Raptor and published by Fireshine Games, this online co-op shooter feels like a return to the classic formula sprung forth by the likes of Left 4 Dead and its sequel.
We checked out both a Preview variation of it before its full release and its Early Access launch, meaning that you can learn more about our thoughts. Check out what Martin Heath had to say about his hands-on time in his preview, linked right here!
The title launched on the 28th of April, just three weeks ago, at the time of writing. And now, the team has shared some exciting news about the game and how well it's connecting with players around the world.

As of the 18th of May, 2026, Far Far West has reached a staggering 1,000,000 copies sold. It's an impressive number that cannot be understated — it's a small team comprised of eight people, all working out of passion to bring their dream project to life.
This is also before the full launch of the game, too. Its current Early Access release is very early on in its life cycle, expecting 12 months of development before the official 1.0 launch, showing the strength and capability behind Early Access titles.
That all said, it's not particularly surprising to see the explosive success the title had. It's been part of Top Paid games on Steam for all of its weeks of sale, and it was the most well-reviewed title of its launch week, fighting against the likes of Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era.

Our congratulations to both Evil Raptor and Fireshine Games for Far Far West, and we cannot wait for what else is in store for this exciting, first-person Western shooter. Don't miss out on this massively successful title, available now for £15.99 on PC via Steam.
