Farming Simulator Getting It's Own Set of Peripherals

Farming Simulator Getting It's Own Set of Peripherals

In an unusual turn of events, it's confirmed that hardware and controller manufacture Mad Catz are making a range of dedicated peripherals for Giant's Software Farming Simulator series.

The Mad Catz brand from Saitek is one of the leaders in creating peripherals specifically for simulator titles from Flying to Racing title, as well as range of keyboards and mice for PC gamers.

The president and CEO of Saitek, Darren Richardson explained their venture by saying:

“We are excited to bring the same level of engineering and realism to the farming simulator genre. Giants Software has created a much loved simulation that has a loyal and passionate fan base. Mad Catz is confident that the farming simulator community will embrace Saitek hardware, which we believe will bring an added dimension of realism and immersion to farming simulation"

So knowing their history, it wouldn't necessarily be new territory to them and with their decision to develop it themselves they must know there's got to be a market for them.

With that all said, look forward to Christmas time 2015 to enjoy the authentic farming experience with your very own tractor controller in the comfort of your own home...If that is your sort of thing.

Is it just going to be a racing controller with a couple of extra levers?
