Final Fantasy VII Remake's PlayStation Plus Version Finally Gets Free PS5 Upgrade

What an unnecessarily confusing time PlayStation owners have had when it comes to upgrades! Initially ineligible for the PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5 free upgrade, the PlayStation Plus version of Final Fantasy VII Remake will now have access to the next-gen version from Wednesday 22nd December.

Subscribers will be able to enjoy the game with improved visuals, 60 fps, and a photo mode (for all you shutterbugs out there). Not only that, but the DLC ,featuring everyone's favourite ninja Yuffie, "Episode INTERmission" is also getting a limited time discount of 25% off.

It's a shame it took Square Enix and Sony this long to rectify this, as anyone who wanted to play the latest version has probably already purchased the upgrade. Still, better late than never right? Lets hope other companies follow along.
