Final Fantasy XIV Passes 2 Million Subscribers

After a litany of problems, a relaunch, a period of suspended subscription fees, a shut-down and now a multi-platform relaunch embattled MMO Final Fantasy XIV : A Realm Reborn has hit the 2 million subscriber mark.

After announcing that they had also hit 500,000 daily active users in the first 2 months from release, this is nothing but good news for Square Enix and producer Naoki Yoshida.

This news continues the upward trend in the fortunes of both the game and publisher that was noticed in October of last year.
