Free God of War Theme and Avatar Set Available for One Year Anniversary

The latest instalment in the God of War franchise has been a storming success for Sony, selling over three million copies in its first three days on the market and sweeping numerous game of the year awards from a multitude of publications. In celebration of the one year anniversary since the games release, PlayStation 4 owners will be able to download a free dynamic theme and avatar set starting this week.

The dynamic theme is available to download now, and features Atreus and Kratos sitting on a boat in the Lake of Nine, which acts as the main hub for the characters throughout the game. The avatar set won’t be available to download until Wednesday, and includes a number of characters featured in the game such as Freya and Mimir.
