Free Upgrade to The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection on Origin

Origin are retiring support for current edition of The Sims 2, which would be bad if you have problems and require it. However as an apology, you can upgrade to The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection for free! You don't have to, of course, but if you don't have every expansion already then you've literally nothing to lose and something to gain.

On or around 22nd July support will stop and your copy of The Sims 2 will be joined by The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection. Remember to backup your saves so you can migrate them - details are here if you need to know how. And of course you will need to download it to play it.

You don't even need The Sims 2 for this. Just a version of The Sims 2 - such as University or Nightlife - will do.

And if your copy of The Sims 2 isn't registered to your account, you can still do it now. If it doesn't work, get on to the Live Chat Support and ask them to add it. Of course you will need a serial key to do it.
