Frontiers DLC Now Available for Anno 2205, Ultimate Edition to Follow

The third and final DLC pack for Ubisoft's city-building spectacular, Anno 2205 has now been released. Frontiers adds to the game with three new sectors, each featuring special projects and challenges specific to that sector.

Madrigal Islands and Greentide Archipelago are located in the temperate Earth region and bring back the traditional Anno flair with lots of smaller islands to build on. One of these sectors holds a secret which gives players access to the Man-Machine Synthetics. This new faction requires lots of high-level materials, but mastering it results in very effective workforces and new buildings. The third sector - Savik Province – is located in the Arctic region and offers continental building space. In this region, players can unearth geysers to gain new lands. The freed geysers can be used as a heat source for surrounding snow camps.

The game and all of its bonus content will be re-released digitally in an Ultimate edition on the 27th of October. This version will feature the three premium DLCs “Tundra”, “Orbit” and “Frontiers”, three free DLCs “Wildwater Bay”, “Veteran’s Pack” and “Big Five Pack”, as well as several improvements made since Anno 2205 launched back in November 2015.
