gamescom 2022: Lies of P

gamescom 2022 had in store a new Lies of P trailer that showcased a combination of gameplay and cinematics. Lies of P is the new Pinocchio-themed action-heavy soulslike form developers Neowiz Games and for the most part it seems very faithful to the genre - the screen layout being very reminiscent of other FromSoftware games. It also appears to have the same twisted take on European folklore and the big bad boss encounters too.

There is no release date for this title as of yet, but providing they can also copy FromSoftware’s fine tuning of mechanics, rather than making it needlessly difficult for difficult sake, then this could be a good one for fans of the genre.

It is due to be released on PlayStation 5, XBox Series X|S and PC.
