Genshin Impact Is Coming To The Epic Games Store

Developer miHoYo may have only just recently revealed update 1.6 for Genshin Impact, but they are not done with announcements just yet.

The latest news is that the popular free-to-play open-world RPG will be coming to the Epic Games Store, marking the first major store front on PC to make the game available for download. Up until now PC players had to download the game directly from miHoYo. 

"When developing Genshin Impact, one of our main focuses has been to make the game available on a wide range of platforms so players can play alone or together with friends regardless of how they choose to play it, The Epic Games Store is an expert in PC gaming, and we're privileged to work with Epic to bring Genshin Impact to a broader global gaming community." - Forrest Liu, President of miHoYo.

Genshin Impact is available to wishlist on the Epic Games Store now, and the release will support cross-play allowing PC, Android, iOS and PlayStation players to all adventure together. 

Planned to release on 9th June, 2021 alongside update 1.6 all players will be able to use the redemption code "GenshinEpic" on 9th June to unlock an in-game bonus.

Genshin Impact is available now on PC, Mobile, and PlayStation 4.
