Get Ready to R.A.C.E With Hardspace: Shipbreaker's Latest Update

Blackbird Interactive's unique space salvaging simulator, Hardspace: Shipbreaker, has just been updated with an all-new weekly challenge mode. Titled 'R.A.C.E', the mode will see players all over the world compete to dismantle the same ship with the same set of tools. With a completely even playing field, it'll truly be a test of salvaging skill. For the full changelog, click here. Out now on Steam Early Access, Hardspace: Shipbreaker has players take on the role of a space scrapper in debt to corporate behemoth LYNX Corp to the tune of a billion credits (read: a lot). To pay off that debt—or at least try to—you'll have to strategically dismantle an endless stream of abandoned or reclaimed space vehicles. Good thing for you, Blackbird Interactive has injected some fun into the job of this hopelessly indebted space-shmoe. 

Hardspace: Shipbreaker is out now for PC via Steam Early Access. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One releases are planned for a later, unannounced date.
