Ghostrunner Launches on PC and Consoles

Cyberpunk 2077 may have been delayed, but we're not completely without a hearty helping of hyper-stylised cyberpunk action. Ghostrunner, the fast-paced first-person slasher with a parkour twist is out now on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (with a free upgrade path for the game's upcoming release on next-gen consoles). As the titular Ghostrunner, you'll wallrun, leap, slide, slash and dash your way through a series of one-hit-kill showdowns with ruthless enemies on a quest to uncover your past and take down the tyrannical, robo-tentacled Keymaster. By entering the 'Cyber Void', an altered state of reality, you'll also gain access to a suite of superhuman abilities: concussive blasts, laser beams and more.

As if the game's visual style weren't crazy enough, Ghostrunner's action is underscored by an original synthwave soundtrack from artist Daniel Deluxe.

It's crazy, it's fast-paced and it's the second biggest cyberpunk game set to release this year (barring any further delays from CD Projekt Red). Ghostrunner is out now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. A switch version is planned for release in November, and next-gen versions will release sometime in 2021 (with a free upgrade path for existing console owners).
