Gigantamax Snorlax Coming To Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield

A new Gigantamax form is coming to Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield with the lumbering fatso Gigantamax Snorlax.

As with every Gigantamax form, this popular Kanto Pokémon has received a re-design and also has access to a new move. When Gigantamaxed, Snorlax sports a grassy field and a tree on his belly, even including a footpath to stroll through. Snorlax was always behemoth even before getting a size increase, so this design seems like a bit of tongue-in-cheek humour referencing his preposterous body mass when Gigantamaxed.

The new move that Gigantamax Snorlax has access to is G-Max Replenish, which restores a used berry that the Pokémon was holding.

Gigantamax Snorlax is obtainable through Max Raid Battles from 4th December until 5th January.
