Golden Axe Joins the SEGA Forever Collection
Golden Axe has joined the SEGA Forever collection and it is now available as a free-to-play mobile title with ad support. Players are now able to download the game for free from the App Store, and on Google Play Store. Golden Axe was originally released in 1989 for the SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis.
Players who want to experience the games without ads can remove them for a one-time in app purchase priced at £1.99. Also, SEGA Forever games will be equipped with multiplayer capabilities in a future update.

Great addition to the line-up. This was one of the first games I ever completed, loved it back in the day. One of the coolest endings of a game at the time too.

Isn't it odd that they announced SEGA Forever as some big thing that was going to bring loads of SEGA games to mobile, and they're just re-releasing the same Mega Drive games they re-release all the time?
