Gravity Circuit Offers Limited-time Free-to-keep Promotion on Steam Alongside Exciting Announcement
One of the strongest tools of advertisement in a developer and publisher's arsenal is the capability to share games to keep for free for a limited time on Steam. The free-to-keep promotion is a strong way for teams to get hype going around a game, either for a new expansion, update, or more.
Developer Domesticated Ant Games alongside publishers PID Games and Dear Villagers have all taken this promotional route with their 2023 launch, Gravity Circuit. This action-packed 2D retro platformer reached Overwhelmingly Positive reviews on Steam, standing out due to its similarities to Mega Man in modern-day gaming.
Gravity Circuit had previously seen a lowest-recorded price of £5.71 before it went free-to-keep on Steam, bolstering a 60% discount at the time. Now, however, players all around the world are invited to check the game out for free, as the license allows players to add the title to their libraries without needing to pay for it.

It's worth noting that, as with all free-to-keep promotions, there are some limitations that may apply. It's worth noting that the free-to-keep promotion will run until the 14th of June 2026 or until supplies run out (however, we at GameGrin have never seen a situation in which supplies ran out, but it's still worth a mention). Also added to this, titles claimed through this promotion do not drop Steam Trading Cards.
This promotion is being run due to the announcement of the game's upcoming sequel, Gravity Circuit 2. The game is set to launch sometime in 2027, though since it has just been announced, there's likely a long journey up to its full release.
