Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series' Cast Announced

A new teaser trailer for Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series is out today, along with casting details about the voice talent in the game.

Borrowing heavily in style from James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy blockbuster movie, the Telltale Series' plot focuses on the discovery of an artefact of unspeakable power in the wake of an "epic" battle. Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Groot each have a reason to desire this relic, as does a ruthless enemy who is the last of her kind and who will stop at nothing to tear it from their hands.

Set to the beat of "awesome music" from Earth to the Milano (the ship) to Knowhere and beyond, the player steps into the rocket-powered boots of Star-Lord and in typical Telltale fashion, their decisions and actions drive the story they experience.

The game series star Scott Porter (Friday Night Lights, The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series) as Star-Lord, Emily O'Brien (The Young and the Restless, Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor) as Gamora, Nolan North (Nolan North, the Uncharted series, and Nolan North) as Rocket, Brandon Paul Eells (Watch Dogs) as Drax, and Adam Harrington (The Wolf Among Us, League of Legends) as Groot.

Besides digital download, Guardians of the Galaxy will also have a retail special season pass disc, which will include the first episode in the season and grant access to the subsequent four episodes as they become available for download via online updates.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series is out on consoles, PC, and mobile devices sometime in Spring 2017. Specific platform details are yet to be announced.

Adam Harrington has so much work to do. He's gonna have so many lines, I hope he can keep up with the workload...
