Guild Wars 2 Announces The Icebrood Saga

NCSoft and ArenaNet have announced the new part of the Living World for Guild Wars 2 in combination to a few 20th-anniversary partnerships.

The Icebrood saga introduces a wealth of new features including Strike missions which are epic 10-man boss encounters that mix the coordination of traditional raiding with the large-scale conflict that fans of Guild Wars 2 have come to love. Grothmar Valley and Northern Shiverpeaks will be open to players and new boss creatures will swarm them including the newly awakened Drakkar that players first saw in the original Guild Wars. Episode One and Episode Two will also explore the history and influence of the Spirits of the Wild, the mystic animal deities of the Norn.

The 20th-anniversary collaborations include an art book with Dark Horse Comics that launches in the spring of 2020 that features concept art, production material, and creator commentary from the Guild Wars franchise,  Guild Wars 2 Funko Pop! figures, new apparel from Insert Coin and Hot Topic, new mouse pads and phone cases from Razer and a music streaming tie-in with Tidal.
