Guild Wars 2 Festival of the Four Winds Returns!

A new summer event will soon kick off in the popular MMO Guild Wars 2: The Festival of the Four Winds. The event begins on 24 July. The event is tied into the in-game lore and includes important characters like Queen Jenna and the Captain's Council of Lion's Arch.

Activities during the event include races, scavenger hunts, and new adventures for newcomers or old-hands alike. Players who are looking for a little more action can even challenge "recreations of humanity's greatest foes, legendary champions and notorious figures in the Boss Blitz and Queen’s Gauntlet." 

Prizes will be available for purchase with event currency.

Getting to the event is as simple as fast-traveling to Lion's Arch - or taking a special hot air balloon from any nation's capital city.
