Habitat v0.4 Update

Habitat v0.4 Update

Although we previewed this Early Access title in August, Habitat has grown in leaps and bounds thanks to the diligent work of developer 4gency.

The main feature, we feel, are the tutorials. Before it was quite hit-and-miss what would work well, now you have basic and advanced tutorials to show you how to play.

There are more missions, which give you XP used to level up. The higher the level, the more XP, the harder the mission.

There are new enemies, including different types of nanomachines and orbital attack stations.

Damage and health have been altered to make it more fair, as well as connectors less likely to explode. This comes at a price though, as the connectors are easier to disconnect!

Engineers will think for themselves, at least in part. If you send one off to grab a Statue of Liberty head and another is idle, it will head over to help speed up the return of the part!

The HAL computer system will aid you in fighting enemy units!

New parts like the WWII submarine! A screenshot mode! Improved camera! Parts delivered right from the Earth!

The game is really improving, and looks set to do so for a long time to come.

You can read the full list here on the Steam community page. You can also check out what will be improved upon in the future, using their Trello board.
