Hades II Releases New Post-Launch Update

Hades II Releases New Post-Launch Update

Hades II launched last year to wide acclaim, as its final version from the original Early Access release brought a ton of content for players to enjoy. Meeting the high expectations set by Hades before it, it offered players the chance to pretty much experience double the content from the original, as Supergiant Games claimed their spot at the top of the roguelike genre once more.

Still, even several months after the launch of the game, the team has just released a second patch, giving players all-new content to enjoy, alongside some highly requested features. While it is mostly comprised of minor changes that don't affect the gameplay too much, boons, weapons, foes, and several prophecies have been reworked.

Here are some of the highlights that you should know about Hades II's second post-launch update:

  • Fated prophecies have been updated, notably for Odysseus and Arachne, including a new narrated conclusion for their scenes, which can be reviewed in the Fated List once it has been completed.
  • Players can now gift some characters repeated Bath Salts, Twin Lures, and Ambrosia indefinitely after their bond has been forged, offering new scenes.
  • Characters that Melinoë can have a relationship with will now show interest in continuing their relations after the fact.
  • Various characters have received new in-game dialogue throughout various points of the story.
  • Various new decorations added to the Crossroads Training Grounds to further customise every location to your liking.
  • Every Animal Familiar has earned a new alternate form.
  • More surprises to uncover.

It's great to see post-launch content, as Supergiant Games continues to support the experience for veterans and newcomers alike. The second major content update is out now, and players can begin their journey right away!
