Hitman: Absolution and Hitman: Blood Money Receive PS4 and Xbox One Ratings

Hitman: Absolution and Hitman: Blood Money Receive PS4 and Xbox One Ratings

The Pan European Game Information (PEGI) rating system has been found to have rated seemingly remastered versions of Hitman: Absolution and Hitman: Blood Money for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The ratings were actually handed out in September, but the details have only just surfaced (thanks Gematsu). The best bet would probably be a remaster of both of these titles for the newer hardware.

Hitman: Blood Money is the earliest of these two, originally releasing in May 2006 for PC, PlayStation 2, Xbox and Xbox 360. This followed Agent 47, tracking down an agency that appears is taking down The ICA. Absolution followed six years later in 2012 on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Agent 47 had been betrayed by his agency and the police, so found himself on a course of redemption. Of sorts.

Neither of these are available on PlayStation Now, but are available through Xbox One's Backwards Compatibility programme.

The next entry in the Hitman series, Hitman 2, is due for launch on the 13th November on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
