Introducing: Steam Deck Verified

Valve have announced a new system to help gamers see how compatible their Steam Library will be with the upcoming Steam Deck.

Deck Verified will allow users to see Steam games organised into four categories of compatibility, from Verified games that work perfectly, Playable games that will need a bit of fiddling to work, Unsupported games that won't function on the Steam Deck, and Unknown games that haven't yet had their compatibility checked by Valve.

Verified games will be ensured to have full controller support as well as support the Steam Deck screen resolution.

Valve will be going through the entire Steam catalog for review, and the categories will be available for customers on the Steam Store, as well as being presented in their personal Steam Libraries.
