League of Legends Releases New Cinematic for 2026 Season 1 Act 1: For Demacia

The first year of League of Legends' new approach to seasons has officially concluded, as the narrative of the 2025 seasons comes to a close. With Zaahen released as the final champion and a heartwrenching narrative, players look forward to what we can expect with the latest one, starting with 2026's newest season.

Season 1 Act 1: For Demacia is the first season of 2026, and the trailer for it premiered, entering #18 on Trending for gaming over on YouTube. It's a five-minute lorefest featuring a large cast of Demacia's characters, and a lot who hadn't been featured in a trailer up to that point.

The new song inviting 2026 is Salvation featuring Forts with a trailer animated with Unit Image and Ben Hibon, the team who created the Season 2024 trailer for Still Here. While it hasn't reached the heights the other had, a lot of players are thrilled with the approach to the trailer, namely because of the oft-ignored champions getting a chance at the spotlight.
