League of Legends Releases Zaahen Champion Spotlight

The final champion of League of Legends 2025 is on his way, as Zaahen has been revealed. Shown off during some of the comics, and then a more in-depth look at his return to Runeterra in the final cinematic of the year, his reveal has seen ups and downs in terms of enthusiasm and love.

Zaahen is somewhere in the middle in terms of the "200 years of collective videogame experience" meme, as his kit is a bit simpler while still bringing in multi-layer passives, extra passives, and several active abilities. Still, from bird lovers to handsome Squidward haters, Zaahen's reveal cinematic made many fall in love with him, and many fans of old Aatrox (myself included) are ecstatic to see a bit of his kit and gameplay identity return, even if slightly altered.
