Lost Crowns DLC Announced for Dark Souls II

Dark Souls II has released a trailer showing off its first DLC, Crown of the Sunken King, part of a planned trilogy called the Lost Crowns.

Players search for the three lost crowns of Drangleic's King Vendrick, which "hold the strength of lords from times long past." Sunken King takes players to a vast subterranean city full of crumbling architecture, strange stepped pyramids and, of course, insanely dangerous monsters to fight. The other two installments, Crown of the Old Iron King and Crown of the Ivory King keep players in the open air at least, taking them to a open air cathedral-esque structure on a cliff and an icy mountain peak respectively, based on the glimpses offered in the trailer.

Crown of the Sunken King will hit PC and Xbox 360 on July 22, and PlayStation 3 on July 23, with the option for players to buy a Season Pass for all three episodes.

After being told dragontamer is "not a real job", she settled for being a word typer-upper. Finally got those San Diego Comic Con tickets.
