Lost Worlds: Beyond the Page Gets a Delightfully Stylistic Gameplay Trailer

A new gameplay trailer was revealed for Lost Worlds: Beyond the Page at the recent New York Game Awards. The trailer (shown above) gives players an introduction to its young heroine's plight while letting them soak in the game's vibrant art style and plot-entwined gameplay. 

Taking place through the eyes of Izzy, a young writer with a vivid imagination, Lost Worlds tells the emotional story of endangered innocence and threatened beauty. Written by Rhianna Pratchett (Rise of the Tomb Raider, BioShock Infinite and Mirror's Edge), daughter of author Terry Pratchett and revered writer in her own right.

The gameplay on offer is a mixture of platforming and puzzle-solving that intersects with the story and its themes. This balance of story and gameplay, combined with its charming presentation, has no doubt contributed to the title having earned over a dozen pre-release awards.

Lost Worlds: Beyond the Page is releasing Spring 2020 for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
