Lucasfilm Revives the "Lucasfilm Games" Brand

Lucasfilm has announced via the Star Wars blog that all future Star Wars videogames will launch under the rebranded "Lucasfilm Games" banner, a title originally held by the company between the years of 1982 and 1990 for titles like Maniac Mansion and Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders.

Alongside this news, the studio has launched all-new Lucasfilm Games Twitter and Lucasfilm Games Facebook pages, as well as a celebratory sizzle reel casting an eye back to recent Star Wars videogames (shown above).

The first game to be announced under this new banner is not, in fact, a Star Wars game, but rather an Indiana Jones title developed by MachineGames and produced by Todd Howard.
