Metro Redux Revealed for Nintendo Switch

The first two games in 4A's post-apocalyptic Metro series are officially coming to Nintendo Switch. The announcement trailer (above) confirms that Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux, the remastered versions of the games complete with all DLC, will be releasing on Nintendo Switch 28th February 2020.

Both titles will be available under one package as a physical retail release; players who would rather buy the games separately can do so digitally on the Nintendo eShop.

Based on the series of books by Dmitry Glukhovsky, Metro introduces players to a devastated, post-nuclear interpretation of Moscow in which the remaining humans fight for an existence within the shelter of the underground metro system. Artyom, series protagonist, must manage his resources and fight through the bandits, mutants and militias of the metro's various regions on a mission to ensure the safety of his home station. With multiple difficulty options, including the brutal 'Ranger' mode, the Metro series can satisfy players looking for a hardcore shooter experience or a more casual (but still atmospheric) narrative one.
