Minecraft Celebrates its Fourth Xbox Birthday with Freebies

Minecraft has now been on the Xbox for four years. The game, bought by Microsoft in 2012, has seen popularity on an unprecedented scale, becoming one of the most popular games of all time in what is a relatively short lifespan. To celebrate four years since the game was reborn under the wing of the Redmond-based company, Mojang have released some free additional content.

From now until the 16th of May, players will be able to download a free 4th Birthday Skin Pack for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition and Minecraft: Xbox One Edition. There’s a little more though, if you weren’t around for the earlier birthdays, then you might not be aware that this is in fact the fourth free skin. Those three earlier skins are also available as free downloads for the benefit of anyone who missed them.
