Missing Out on Easter Celebrations This Year? Rust Has Got You Covered

It's the worst time of year for chocolate chickens and the best time of year for chocaholics: Easter! To celebrate, Rust began its annual Easter egg hunt on Thursday 9th April. The event will run for an entire week and offer players the chance to earn a variety of Easter gear in addition to some valuable non-Easter in-game loot.

Taking part in daily Easter egg hunts will reward players with various types of prize eggs which can be opened up for loot. Look out for a bunny onesie, bunny ears and an Easter egg basket in these prize eggs: they're the event-exclusive items on offer this year. There's a lot more to find in these eggs too: resources, weapons ammo and food. Saving up the lower tiers of prize eggs will give players the opportunity to combine them into the higher tiers, so coming in 2nd, 3rd or even lower in each day's egg hunt needn't be a complete loss.

On top of this, the in-game store has also been updated with Rustigé Eggs, which serve as monuments and music boxes. A googly-eyed nest hat is also available for purchase in the in-game store.  A few fixes and tweaks have also been made to the game in this update, the details of which can be found in the latest developer blog post here.

The Easter event for Rust will run from the 9th - 16th April.
