Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault Releases First Major Content Update for Early Access
Digital Sun and 11 bit studios released the sequel to Moonlighter last year, on the 19th of November 2025. Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is the natural evolution of the title, bringing with it new graphical fidelity, improved gameplay, and more.
Taking on the role of the shopkeeper, players head out into the world to dungeon delve, gathering items to sell in the shop and improve the town. The title launched on Early Access on the 19th of November 2025, and Digital Sun has released the first major content update!
The Greed and Glory update brings a host of new changes to the title, offering new challenges for players who had already enjoyed what was on offer for the first Early Access build. This includes a new area, a new upgrade path, new items, and more!

The latest trailer released on the official 11 bit studios YouTube channel shows off what players can expect from the latest update. Showing off some of the gameplay elements that players can look forward to!
Shown off as the first element in the trailer is the Greed Colosseum, a new wave-based challenge mode, bringing a slew of enemies and mini-bosses through several waves. Each round escalates the difficulty, bringing new challenges and better gold scalings as players ascend through the levels.
The Greed and Glory update also brings a new combat path called HEX, which brings a brand-new status effect for players to weaponise. This works as a poison-like debuff for foes, dealing delayed damage and spreading to nearby foes, synergising greatly with other combat paths, such as Thunder!

These are the two major changes, but additions across the board arrived with the update, too. Here are the changes that you can expect to Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault's Early Access:
- A new set of unique perks.
- New quests to unravel the narrative further.
- Shiny new gadgets to uncover.
- New cosmetics to decorate your shop with.
This marks the first major content update for Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault, out now on PC via Steam. Digital Sun and 11 bit studios are expecting the title to launch sometime in 2026 from its Early Access period, and this brings it one step closer to the finalised version for the product.
If you'd like to check out the game, it's at a 20% discount until the 19th of March, bringing the price down from £24.99 to £19.99.
