More Information About Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection's Characters and Monsters Revealed!

In one of the latest Steam posts, Capcom revealed the story trailer for their upcoming title, Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, alongside more details about characters and Monsties!

First, we got a more personal glance at three of the characters. Clarissa, the queen of Vermeil and Eleanor's older sister, is sure that returning to the Sacrosanctum is the only way to save the land from the Crystal Encroachment scourge... but doing so would break the covenant with the Wyverians. Still, she's steadfast and ready to go to war with Azuria if needed.

Corbin, an explorer and Hunter from the Hunter territory, is taking assignments from the Guild alongside his loyal Palico, PK. Despite knowing about Riders, he hadn't had a chance to meet one in person until now, and he's very excited to meet the Rangers!

Finally, PK. Although he's Corbin's friend and companion, he excels — and is possibly known for — a very specific skill: waking Corbin up. It may not be a gentle way, but he's perfected it with daily practice!

We also got a look at some of the powerful monsters, which are perhaps the most exciting part for the more adventure-focused players. The image we get is of Arkveld, a Flying Wyvern whose wings are chain-like, ending with bladed tendrils. They are the way the monster ends its prey most efficiently.

Ajarkan's fiery carapace contrasts against Arkveld's blue hues, but it's there for more than just looks! By affixing molten metals and using friction, it can cause an explosion to end its enemies.

Malzeno, who is an Elder Dragon, is renowned for its silver carapace. At nighttime, it stalks prey to drain its energy — once it's ready, it reveals its true, dreadful form.

The last one we got introduced to is the Calamitous Elder Dragon Namielle: a monster that can completely envelop itself in liquid and command water. Thanks to its unique electric organs, it can create massive explosions by mixing its water attacks with electricity!
