MotoGP 21 Gets Release Date
The next entry in the racing simulation franchise MotoGP 21 has been confirmed and given a release date, and it's not far off. MotoGP 21 will release for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store) on the 22nd April 2021.
With an all-new strategic Managerial Career Mode, the most advanced AI in the series' history and incredibly deep customisation mechanics, this looks to be the most fully-featured MotoGP game yet.
Developer Milestone s.r.l. has revealed that it has doubled-down on realism in this entry, implementing a range of gameplay features which could make this the most intense simulation of MotoGP ever:
- Falling off your bike no longer triggers an auto-respawn: you'll have to physically get back on your vehicle, losing valuable seconds in the process.
- Brake temperature is another factor you'll have to pay attention to: if they get too hot or cold, they'll lose effectiveness and hamper your on-track performance.
- Long Lap Penalties are coming to the game, meaning that penalties are able to be more specific.
- The vehicle suspension system has also been revised for added realism.
MotoGP 21 truly looks to be a simulation worth looking out for. It releases for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store) on the 22nd April 2021.
