National Flags Moved Behind Paywall In War Thunder

So Gaijin Entertainment have had some problems with trolls using national flags to start the usual  (but unfortunate) xenophobic hate, so far, so much "wonderful day in the neighbourhood".

What has been interesting is their response to this problem. Take all the national flags, stick them on the cash store and take them away from all the players that already had unlocked them.

Over on the War Thunder forum, one of the Gaijin admins by the name of Scarper has posted announcing the change and that all National Flags listed in the flags directory of players decals were reset on February the 10th and removed from their inventory in-game. Flags will be available from now on in a similar way as the rest of the decals via purchasing using GE.

The thread was about three posts in before people started posting "funny" comments showing just why this change was necessary, so it's understandable from the point of view of Gaijin, but players being players, there was a good amount of whining too.
