New Dauntless Trailer

Phoenix Labs recently visited PAX East, and they brought a swanky new trailer with them for Dauntless, their debut title. In it, teams of players kill a giant owl creature and some kind of basilisk. It's all very pretty but we can't help wondering if they could settle their differences in a less violent way?

That seems unlikely, seeing as the game is built around a detailed weapon crafting system. It's a co-op RPG that sees players working together to explore in search of the tools to make bigger and better weapons, all in the name of taking out greater foes along the way. Set in a colourful fantasy world, we can expect to see more of the game as the closed beta gets underway this year.
