New Full-Length Trailer Released for DOOM Eternal

Forget the teasers, no more snippets: it's time for a proper look at the upcoming DOOM Eternal from id Software. The latest trailer for the long-awaited sequel (found above) shows off a grander story with higher stakes, that still features enough blood and carnage to satisfy the gore hounds that flocked to 2016's DOOM.

Following the previous game's events, the Earth has become overrun with demons hell-bent on ending humanity. Obviously, it's down to the unstoppable Doom Slayer to take them down. As if the demonic forces aren't enough to contend with, in DOOM Eternal, heaven's army has also targeted the Doom Slayer. Not like that matters to him: angel or demon, it's just more limbs to tear apart.

With new, never-before seen locations on Hell, Earth and beyond, DOOM Eternal looks to feature a wider range of environments than the previous title. The enemy roster has also been expanded with the new Marauder and Gladiator demons making an appearance in the trailer. 

DOOM Eternal  releases 20th March for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia with a later release date for Nintendo Switch.
