Bridge Constructor Portal, based off Valve’s own Portal franchise, is set to receive its first set of DLC later this month, courtesy of ClockStone Software. The expansion will see players facing 30 more bridge-based challenges in the Aperture Science Enrichment Centre.
This time however, in response to fan demand, players will be able to place their own portals to overcome the new suite of challenges. The gameplay depth added with this change supports ClockStone Software’s tongue-in-cheek claim that “only the bravest and smartest participants will succeed”.
It’s time to start thinking with portals, as well as watching out for a myriad of other obstacles and variables familiar to any Portal fan. Lasers, propulsion gel, repulsion gel and turrets all make a welcome appearance alongside other staples of the Portal franchise.
The Portal Proficiency DLC will be available for PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android on 12th November.
