New Look at Oddworld: Soulstorm

First announced back in March 2019, we were shown an all-new trailer for the upcoming adventure-platformer sequel Oddworld: Soulstorm at The Game Awards 2020. Get a look at its "2.9D" graphics and twisted sense of style in the trailer above.

Continuing the story of Abe as he seeks to incite revolution and free his kind from their endless enslavement, the game sees Abe having to scavenge, pickpocket and steal to equip himself and his allies, giving him choice in how he tackles the games myriad challenges. He'll be able to craft items, choosing to use them for his own ends or gift them to potential allies, thereby strengthening his revolutionary force. He'll even have to contend with the force of Quarma which, like karma, is a force that acts upon Abe—positively or negatively—depending on how he treats the world around him.

Oddworld: Soulstorm is set for release in spring 2021 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC (exclusive to the Epic Games Store).
