New Partnership Between Konami Digital and Bloober Team

Konami, considered a juggernaut in the contemporary world of videogames, has announced a partnership with psychological horror developers Bloober Team, who have seen renown recently for their highly successful titles such as >observer_ and The Medium. This news is following an interview from February 2021 with Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno wherein he states that:

"In fact, we've been working for more than a year on another gaming project, another horror IP, and we're doing this with a very famous gaming publisher. I can't tell you who. I can't tell you what the project is, but I'm pretty sure when people realize we're working on it, they will be very excited."

This has some fans fueling a speculation that, given Bloober Team’s history of games, a new Silent Hill title is in the works. The Silent Hill franchise has been dormant since the short-lived development of the now-canceled Silent Hills and the even shorter life of P.T., which is hailed by many as one of the greatest horror games ever made despite its length. Such claims are just rumours, but the internet is keeping an eye on the two companies very closely following their partnership.
