New PSX-inspired Adventure Launches on Steam

As the videogame industry grows and the capability of solo developers continues to shine, more titles inspired by old classics and vibes continue to arise. This time, solo developer Public Void is proud to release its self-published title, Valkyrie Saga.

Inspired by the PlayStation X, players take control of protagonist Roll the Valkyrie, fulfilling tasks for the Goddess as a floating island slowly descends into Earth, promising imminent destruction. To do so, players will explore the island, uncover an ancient civilisation, and engage with retro-inspired gameplay that's sure to tickle the nostalgia feelings.

Climb, dash, jump, and use the Roll's Valkyrie wings to glide around the island, completing quests and exploring the vast location. Discover the complex lore as you can uncover cryptic scribblings and learn more about the past while fulfilling the Goddess' quest to prevent the island from crashing into Earth.

The title is out now on Windows PC via Steam as of the 26th of January 2026, and you can pick it up for £6.70, with an introductory discount of 15% off for £5.69 until the 2nd of February 2026.
