New Trailer For Homefront: The Revolution Details Hearts and Minds Feature

Just a few days after their previous trailer for Homefront: The Revolution, Deep Silver have released another. Where the last video we saw showed the guerrilla warfare aspect of the game, this time, we get a first look at a new feature for the game entitled "Hearts and Minds". This is a stat that represents the state of uprising across the oppressed Yellow Zones of occupied Philadelphia, and will increase as the player performs acts of resistance, such as destroying KPA infrastructure.

Players take the guise of Ethan Brady and must inspire people to rise up against the brutal military ruling to spark a revolution. As the Hearts and Minds stat increases, the previously subservient populace will join you in acts of rebellion, making your task easier as you garner more support from civilians. It's not entirely dissimilar to the mechanics seen in games like InFamous and Crackdown where completing more side quests gains you more support, and therefore help, from NPC characters in game.
