News Tower is Officially Out of Early Access!

News Tower has officially launched Version 1.0 on Steam. In this, you'll be going through the layers of newspaper production to rise from a neighbourhood gazette to a media powerhouse. It's up to you to dominate the newsstands of New York City. Not only will you be sharing news, but this is a tycoon game above all else.

Set in the 1930s, News Tower involves you going through the whole production pipeline. Build up a dream HQ by hiring editors, reporters, copywriters, ad sellers, janitors, and lawyers. You'll get the chance to choose your story leads, whether you want to be filled with integrity or grab readers with sensationalist front pages.

However, it's not all fun and games. Many people are aiming to get you on their side, but you can't please everyone. You'll have to contend with the Mayor's office, the Mafia, High Society, and even the Military. From a scrappy beginning in Brooklyn, you'll navigate throughout the city to compete with your rivals to sway readers to your side.

Admittedly, the Military is one of the newest additions to the factions. There's even more to look forward to in 1.0, with an extended campaign that goes up to 1939, with hundreds of news stories from both the United States and Europe. There are updated faction quests, reputation systems, and more narrative paths. Plus, new buildings, decorations and more city districts around. 

Fans playing since Early Access will notice that there's some new layouts for your tower, and some late-game expansion options.
