Nioh 3 Reaches One Million Units Sold, as Franchise Celebrates 10 Million Total
KOEI TECMO GAMES CO., LTD. launched the latest instalment of the soulslike action-RPG Nioh 3 this month, on the 6th of February 2026. The new title invited players to check out the open field as players take on the role of Samurai Style and Ninja Style combat mechanics, bringing the franchise to a new height.
Now, just a few weeks after its official launch — on the 19th of February 2026 — Koei Tecmo announced that Nioh 3 had already surpassed the one-million units sold. This makes the latest entry into the franchise the fastest-selling one in the series history, which shows great promise for the team as a whole.
That's not all, however, as the sales also helped Nioh as a whole surpass an impressive sales milestone. For the franchise in its entirety, Koei Tecmo is celebrating 10 million units across all games.
On Steam, the title peaked at 88,045 concurrent players on its first weekend after release (the period most titles see their all-time peaks), reaching 88,045 players enjoying the experience at the same time. Even two weeks since its launch, the title is still seeing impressive numbers, with a 24-hour peak (at the time of writing) of 41,558. This stat alone puts it at #82 in most active in terms of daily users, but it's also standing strong in the #56 top sellers on Steam, no small feat for a two-week-old game.
If you're interested in checking it out, Nioh 3 is available for £64.99 on PC via Steam and PlayStation 5. You can also check it out on Steam for free via the demo available on the store page.
