NIS America Set to Release Classics Collection Including Makai Kingdom and Z.H.P. Unlosing Ranger VS Darkdeath Evilman

NIS America, the North American branch of Nippon Ichi Software, is set to release Prinny Presents NIS Classics Vol. 2 for Nintendo Switch on 10th May in North America, followed by European and Australian releases on 13th May. Prinny Presents NIS Classics Vol. 2 is a collection of two older Nippon Ichi Software games, Makai Kingdom: Reclaimed and Rebound and ZHP: Unlosing Ranger vs. Darkdeath Evilman, ported to modern systems for the first time. Both games will also be available separately on PC.

Makai Kingdom: Reclaimed and Rebound is a definitive port of tactical Japanese role-playing game Makai Kingdom: Chronicles of the Sacred Tome, featuring Petta Mode and other content from the Japanese exclusive PlayStation Portable game Phantom Kingdom Portable. Makai Kingdom: Chronicles of the Sacred Tome was originally released on PlayStation 2 on 17th March 2005 in Japan, 26th July 2005 in North America, and 25th October 2005 in Europe and was met with generally favourable reviews, sitting at a 77 on Metacritic. A spin-off of the Disgaea series, Makai Kingdom: Chronicles of the Sacred Tome follows Overlord Zetta, a man with god-like power who has trapped himself in a tome after the destruction of his Netherworld, as he quests to gain his body back.

Z.H.P. Unlosing Ranger VS Darkdeath Evilman is a tactical roguelike game that originally released for the PlayStation Portable on 11th March 2010 in Japan, 26th October 2010 in North America, and 3rd November 2010 in Europe. Like Makai Kingdom: Chronicles of the Sacred Tome, Z.H.P. Unlosing Ranger VS Darkdeath Evilman received generally favourable reviews. It averages at an 81 on Metacritic. The game follows a young boy who is given the power to defeat Demon General Darkdeath Evilman after watching the hero Unlosing Ranger die from being struck by a car.

Prinny Presents NIS Classics Vol. 2 will be available on Nintendo Switch. Makai Kingdom: Reclaimed and Rebound and Z.H.P. Unlosing Ranger VS Darkdeath Evilman will be available on PC.
