NIS America Set to Release Yurukill: The Calumniation Games This Summer
Developer IzanagiGames and publisher NIS America plan to release the visual novel shoot ‘em up crossover Yurukill: The Calumniation Games for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation consoles on 5th July in North America and 8th July in Europe and Australia.
Yurukill: The Calumniation Games is a shoot ‘em up visual novel mix with a core theme of finding the truth. Written by Homura Kawamoto of Kakegarui fame, the game follows Sengoku Shunji, a man accused of arson and the murders of 21 people, as he fights his way through the prison-like amusement park Yurukill Land to prove his innocence. Each of the accused, referred to as Prisoners, must team up with a victim of the crimes committed, known as Executioners. Together, the teams must solve puzzles, collect evidence and testimonies, and battle against the competition for freedom.
Yurukill: The Calumniation Games will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
