Ori and the Blind Forest Coming To Nintendo Switch

In 2015, Ori and the Blind Forest was originally released for PC and Xbox One, and quickly became one of the most beloved indie titles in recent years. Now the Definitive Edition will also be seeing a release on Nintendo Switch later this year.

This isn’t the first time one of Microsoft’s indie darlings has been seen on Nintendo’s handheld/home console hybrid, with the viciously challenging platformer Cuphead also releasing on the Nintendo Switch earlier this year.

Ori and the Blind Forest is a highly stylised 2D metroidvania with a heartwarming story from Austrian developer Moon Studios. While the original game is robust, offering a good amount of content packaged in excellent level design and unique visuals, the Definitive Edition offers even more features in the way of new areas, difficulty modes and abilities for the player to utilise.

Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition will be released on Nintendo Switch on 27th September.
