Paleo Pines' Free Players' Choice Update is Available Now!

Paleo Pines is a cosy farming simulator where players use dinosaurs instead of traditional tools, such as a pickaxe. The title was developed by Italic Pig and published by Maximum Entertainment back in September 2023.

The team recently announced that the free Players' Choice update, which was part of a Kickstarter, is available now! Italic Pig had the following to say on their post,

“We are so pleased to announce that our first FREE update to Paleo Pines created and funded by our player community is finally here!

A huge thank you to those of you who pledged towards the Players' Choice Kickstarter and to all of our players who have supported this special game for years. It has been a joy to work with our players on designing and choosing what is in this first update and we hope you enjoy it!”

Here are the features arriving to every player in the free Paleo Pines update:

• The Spinosaurus, which features the first selection of colours and patterns chosen by the community.
• More dialogue from the NPCs.
• A new atmospheric event: meteor showers, which drop Fallen Stars.
• Fallen Stars can be used to craft Dreamstones and make more dinosaur homes.
• Apium can be found growing in the wild.
• Several dinosaur species have new colour variations.

The second Players' Choice update will arrive sometime later! If you haven't picked up the game yet, Paleo Pines is at a whopping 75% off until the 27th of April on Steam.
