Mechanistry's highly acclaimed and Overwhelmingly Positive beaver city builder, Timberborn, is just about to launch. Having been in Early Access state for the last four years, launched on the 15th of September 2021, it's time for the full version of the game... but not without a final hurrah.

The team has shared with players the opportunity to check out the experimental build of the title to leave more feedback of the experience. Here, players will have the chance to give more information to the developers for changes ahead of the launch, putting fans at the forefront of the development.

The Experimental 1.0 build is available for those who own the title already, but a hefty discount offers players who don't own the game the opportunity to join in on leaving feedback. First seen on Steam Autumn Sale 2025, the 40% discount is back, letting players nab Timberborn for just £15.59.

This might be the last opportunity to get the game at such a high discount before the official launch, and Mechanistry hasn't stated whether the title will go up in price once it fully launches. You can pick it up on Windows PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.
