PlayStation Plus' September Titles Let Loose

PlayStation Plus' September Titles Let Loose

September is here and we now know what Sony's PlayStation Plus offerings are. From discovering the mysteries on your travels in Journey through to hacking your way through hordes of enemies in Lords of the Fallen there's an interesting mix of titles.

The lineup this month is the following:

  • Lords of the Fallen (PS4)
  • Journey (PS4, PS3)
  • Badland (PS4, PS3, PS Vita)
  • Amnesia: Memories (PS Vita)
  • Datura (PS3)
  • Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands (PS3)

Thanks to the multiple platform nature of some of the titles this month that gives you three PS4, four PS3 and two PS Vita titles to go at.

As usual, once applied to your account you can re-download these titles as long as you have an active PlayStation Plus membership.

Be sure to grab last month's titles before September's titles go live on the 6th September.

I bought Prince of Persia during the GOG Summer Sale, after I watched them streaming some of it. I don't regret it, as I'm more likely to get around to playing it on GOG than hooking up my PS3.

I think Journey is the only one I'll play, because it's won loads of awards. Lords of the Fallen is apparently a tough game, which puts me off, Amnesia sounds horror, and Datura doesn't sound much happier... Also, Datura deals with amnesia, ironically.

Might play Badland, but isn't that a mobile game?

Yeah, that's the thing with Prince of Persia, I have it on GOG too, it's probably the best of the 3D trilogy before they turned the prince emo. Journey is well worth a play, I bought it when it initially came out on PS3 and it's a nice thing to experience, doesn't take long to get through either.

Lords of the Fallen is definitely something I want to take a stab at, Badland was a mobile game you are right, it's a puzzle game of sorts with a nice look to it. Datura definitely seems a little grim...

Amnesia: Memories is actually an romantic anime visual novel, probably scary in a non-jump inducing way! :D
