Pokémon, Still Catching 'em all After 20 Years

This year is the 20th Anniversary of the biggest third party franchise to hit Nintendo's consoles, Pokémon. The game has sold a stunning 275 million games over that time and 21.5 billion Trading Cards have been distributed as well. The Pokémon Company International are celebrating that milestone this year with a number of events.

As well as two new games, (Pokkén Tournament and Pokemon Go) the re-release of Pokemon Red and Blue and limited edition toys and figurines, they're also debuting a new TV advert during the prestigious US Superbowl 50. That's not all though as all year, starting february there will be legendary Pokémon giveaway events. They're also asking for your best stories about the franchise on social media with the #Pokemon20 hashtag.
